About Toolkithemlockway
Independent mining equipment reviewers based in Jeju, South Korea, since 2019.
Official Business
Registered name: Toolkithemlockway Mining Review Co., Ltd.
Established: 2019
Location: Jeju Island, South Korea
Our History
Toolkithemlockway began in 2019 when three former colocation technicians in Jeju-Si noticed a gap between manufacturer datasheets and what arrived on loading docks. Buyers were signing purchase orders based on brochure hashrate figures that collapsed under Jeju’s humid summers. We started with informal bench tests for local miners and formalized the practice into a review service by late 2020.
By 2022 we had outgrown a single garage setup and moved into a dedicated test facility near Jeju City, where we now run parallel burn-in lanes for batches heading to facilities across South Korea, Japan, and Southeast Asia. We remain independent — no manufacturer referral fees, no hosting commissions.
What We Do
We review SHA-256 mining hardware rated at 0.05 PH/s and above. Our work centres on observed uptime: how a machine behaves under sustained load, not what a sales sheet promises. Every engagement produces a written brief that procurement teams can act on.
Our Team
- Yeon-soo Han — Lead field engineer, 11 years in commercial mining operations
- Gregor Müller — Thermal systems specialist, formerly with an industrial HVAC contractor in Hamburg
- Ji-eun Choi — Report editor and client liaison, background in technical procurement
Working Approach
We treat every review as a physical investigation. Hardware arrives, gets photographed, gets logged, and gets stressed. We do not publish aggregate scores or leaderboard rankings — each report stands alone because deployment context matters.
Values
- Independence: We disclose any sample units provided by manufacturers and never accept payment for positive coverage.
- Specificity: Reports name board revisions, firmware builds, and ambient conditions — not vague quality labels.
- Buyer respect: Your procurement deadline drives our scheduling, not our content calendar.
Relationship to the Community
We contribute burn-in data to two regional miner associations in Jeju and occasionally speak at small-scale hosting workshops. We are not affiliated with any single manufacturer or exchange.
