Commercial buyers operating at scale rarely consider units below 0.05 petahash per second. At that level, a single machine contributes meaningfully to fleet revenue, and the cost of downtime — missed blocks, repair logistics, rack reallocation — exceeds the fee for a pre-purchase review.
Our floor is not arbitrary. Units below 0.05 PH/s often serve hobbyist or test deployments where extended burn-in economics do not pencil out. We focus our bench time where procurement stakes are highest.

Pre-Purchase Checklist
Before signing a purchase order for any unit at or above 0.05 PH/s, confirm:
- Board revision — Manufacturers ship silent revisions. Ask for the exact PCB version, not just the model name.
- Firmware build — Note the build number and date. Cross-reference against known vulnerability disclosures.
- Power cap headroom — Your facility PDU must sustain peak draw plus 15% margin for fan ramp under heat stress.
- Ambient design point — A unit rated at 35°C factory conditions may throttle at 30°C in a humid Jeju warehouse.
- Warranty transfer — Secondary-market units may not carry transferable warranty. Factor repair cost into total ownership.
- Fan availability — Check lead time on replacement fans for your specific model before deploying 50+ units.

Burn-In Standards We Apply
Our standard burn-in runs 72 hours at a defined ambient temperature. We log hashrate every 15 minutes and flag any interval where variance exceeds 2% of the rolling mean. Thermal images are captured at hours 24, 48, and 72.
Units that pass show stable hashrate, board temperatures within manufacturer limits, and no unplanned shutdowns. Conditional passes include documented issues with remediation guidance. Fails are rare but happen — we have rejected units with counterfeit hash boards and units where firmware locked hashrate below advertised levels.
Geographic Notes for South Korean Buyers
Jeju’s maritime climate introduces higher ambient humidity than inland facilities in Daegu or Seoul. If your deployment site differs from our test conditions, note it in your brief — we can adjust chamber settings or travel to your staging location for an additional fee.
Import duties and customs handling for review units are the buyer’s responsibility. We provide intake documentation for temporary equipment entry when requested.
