Refund Policy

Overview

This policy applies to paid review engagements including Uptime Procurement Reviews, Hashrate Verifications, and Facility Site Audits commissioned through Toolkithemlockway Mining Review Co., Ltd.

Deposit and Payment Structure

• 50% deposit due on quote acceptance to reserve bench or travel dates
• Remaining balance due before report delivery
• All fees quoted in KRW unless otherwise agreed in writing

Full Refund Eligibility

You are entitled to a full refund of all fees paid if:

• We cancel the engagement due to bench unavailability or staff illness and cannot reschedule within 14 days of your deadline
• We determine before intake that your hardware falls below our 0.05 PH/s review threshold and you were not informed at quote stage
• A Facility Site Audit cannot proceed because the operator denies access promised in your brief

Full refunds are processed within 14 business days to the original payment method.

Partial Refund Eligibility

Partial refunds may apply when:

• You cancel more than 7 business days before scheduled intake: deposit refunded minus a 15% scheduling fee
• You cancel 3–7 business days before intake: 50% of deposit refunded
• Review work has begun but cannot be completed due to hardware damage in transit not caused by our handling: pro-rata refund for incomplete deliverables

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not refundable:

• Deposits forfeited for cancellations less than 3 business days before scheduled intake
• Rush scheduling fees once bench time has been reserved
• Travel surcharges if our team has already departed for a Facility Site Audit
• Completed reports that have been delivered, regardless of whether you agree with the findings
• Third-party costs we have incurred on your behalf (shipping labels, lab fees, customs documentation)

Cancellation by Client

To cancel, email info@toolkithemlockway.click with your quote reference and reason. Cancellation is effective when we confirm receipt in writing. Verbal cancellations are not accepted.

Rescheduling

One free reschedule is permitted if requested at least 5 business days before the original intake date. Additional reschedules incur a ₩200,000 administrative fee. Rescheduling within 3 business days is treated as a cancellation and rebooking.

No-Shows

If review hardware does not arrive within 5 business days of the scheduled intake date without prior notice, the deposit is forfeited. Bench time cannot be reallocated at short notice.

Work Already Started

Once burn-in or on-site audit work has commenced, the deposit is non-refundable. If you halt an in-progress engagement, you owe the remaining balance for work completed to date, calculated by deliverable milestones in your quote.

Purchased Materials

We do not sell mining hardware or spare parts. This section does not apply.

Refund Process

1. Email info@toolkithemlockway.click with your quote reference and refund request
2. We confirm eligibility within 3 business days
3. Approved refunds are processed within 14 business days via bank transfer to the original payer
4. You receive a refund confirmation email with the transaction reference

Disputes

If you disagree with a refund decision, reply to our confirmation email with additional context. Unresolved disputes are handled under the governing law provisions in our Terms of Service.
