Extended Case: Busan Colocation Expansion
A regional hosting operator planned to add 120 units of a 0.08 PH/s model to their Busan facility in Q2 2025. They sent two sample units to our Jeju bench before placing the full order.
During burn-in, we recorded hashrate dropping 4.2% after the 48-hour mark on both units, traced to inadequate thermal paste application on two hash boards per unit. The operator used our report to negotiate a pre-shipment inspection clause with the supplier. The full batch passed a subsequent spot check with less than 0.5% variance.
Outcome: Order proceeded with revised QA terms. No rack downtime from thermal throttling in the first 90 days of deployment.
Extended Case: Jeju Hosting Contract
An independent buyer from Fukuoka evaluated two Jeju colocation providers for a 40-unit deployment. We audited both sites over two days.
Site A had adequate cooling but an undersized PDU on the proposed row — our report flagged a 22% overload risk at full fleet draw. Site B had newer infrastructure but poor dust filtration that had already caused two fan failures in an adjacent client’s rack.
Outcome: Buyer chose Site B with a contractual requirement for quarterly filter replacement, and reduced initial rack count until Site A completed a PDU upgrade.
Buyer Testimonials
The burn-in report included board-level temperature maps I could show our electrical contractor. That alone changed how we routed cooling for the new row.
— Da-eun Kim, facility manager, Gwangju
I appreciated that they named the exact firmware version with the known vulnerability. Our supplier had told us it was patched — it was not.
— Marcus Webb, fleet operator, Singapore
Solid work overall. The report was dense and took me a full afternoon to digest. Worth it, though I would have preferred a one-page executive summary up front.
— Tae-ho Lim, independent miner, Daegu
We skipped a full review on our second purchase because the first report gave us enough confidence in the model. That trust did not come cheap, but repeat buys were faster.
